Hay buhay. :|

I’ve had a lot of things in mind the past few weeks.

First, I’ve been so thankful for all the blessings I received. All my prayers are answered. Thank you so much Lord. I never expected things to be as good as it is.

Second, I didn’t expect to be close to people I just met. Being part of a new group is being part of a new family.

Third, the song “It must have been love” is the best theme song for this one. :D I tried yet it seemed to be not the perfect time. I am trying to be fine as always but God knows how hard it is. :/

Fourth, the pain of losing a friend is incomparable. I had loss a dear friend long ago and I can say that I felt the same sadness. I will pray for you guys. Hope you will find eternity in the arms of our creator.

And lastly, the best things about my dear friends is their love for me. Aside from my own family, these people that I’ve been through all my ups and downs are the best treasure from above. I wanna thank them for making me happy, strong and being my pick-me-up. I have a lot of friends, but only few knew me, and I am willing to risk my life for them.

OK. Enough of the drama. I should be thankful for everything God has given me.

Life, bring it on! :D

I miss this!!! Hehehe… I started eating BAGNET when I was in Benilde. About 2 years ago. Aside from the usual lunch sa 12th flr. canteen ng SDA, eto n yata ung official food trip namin ng mga classmates ko. It was delicious, ingat lng sa high blood! I only ate at Stoops, where bagnet are served in filipino style such as Bagnet with kangkong or kamatis or bagoong; and Bagnet 8065, where they have variety of bagnet dishes such as kare-kare, bicol express, sisig and a whole lot more!
Both are near College of Saint Benilde-School if Design and Arts.

Awww.. I miss my Benilde days ;(

Try it everyone! Yum yum yum.

Setting your priorities

When things in your life seem, almost too much to handle,

When 24 Hours in a day is not enough,

Remember the mayonnaise jar and 2 cups of coffee.

A professor stood before his philosophy class

and had some items in front of him.

When the class began, wordlessly,

He picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar

And proceeded to fill it with golf balls.

He then asked the students, if the jar was full.

They agreed that it was.

The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured

them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly.

The pebbles rolled into the open Areas between the golf balls.

He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was.

The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar.

Of course, the sand filled up everything else.

He asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded with a unanimous ‘yes.’

The professor then produced two cups of coffee from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar, effectively

filling the empty space between the sand. The students laughed.

‘Now,’ said the professor, as the laughter subsided,

‘I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life.

The golf balls are the important things - family,

children, health, Friends, and Favorite passions –

Things that if everything else was lost and only they remained, Your life would still be full.

The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, house, and car.

The sand is everything else —The small stuff.

‘If you put the sand into the jar first,’ He continued,

there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls.

The same goes for life.

If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff,

You will never have room for the things that are important to you.

So…

Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness.

Play With your children.

Take time to get medical checkups.

Take your partner out to dinner.

There will always be time to clean the house and fix the disposal.

‘Take care of the golf balls first —

The things that really matter.

Set your priorities. The rest is just sand.

One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the coffee represented.

The professor smiled

‘I’m glad you asked’.

It just goes to show you that no matter how full your life may seem,

There’s always room for a couple of cups of coffee with a friend.’

Fille de Dieu

“Fille de Dieu” is a french word for “Daughter of God”.

It took me like months thinking of what Tat to have. The original lay out was big and a friend told that it is not advisable for a first timer. :( If you think that having a tat was expensive wait till you change your mind and have it removed. LOL :D Having a tat is permanent. It will stay with you until the day you lost your own breath :)

At first, it was a smooth-sailing session. Hearing “Ready ka na?” makes me a little nervous. After about 5 minutes, I felt like needles being pushed in my skin. WHEW!! Thank God “Young, Wild and Free” keeps playing in the room. My attention somehow was divided. :D After an hour, it’s done!

I am looking forward to another Ink Session. Woot!!!
